Orlon Gunner is the moniker of Canadian independent artist Robert Bernard Armieri, who was born in Pickering, ON and raised in Sault Ste. Marie. He has been releasing music under the name Orlon Gunner since late 2017.

Armieri takes a DIY approach to his projects. His debut self-titled EP was written, recorded, and produced entirely himself in a Toronto apartment. “Carousel”, “Your Love is a Gun”, and “Closer”, all received campus radio play across Canada and landed on CJRU Toronto’s Top 30 chart for four weeks, despite being self-released.

Aside from producing music, Armieri is also a short filmmaker who won the Grand Prize at the 2008 CTV Best in Shorts while he was a student at The University of Western Ontario. During this time, he created three other award winning short films, for which he also composed original music. His films were picked up for international distribution by Ouat Media.

Armieri is also the co-founder of Housecreep, a website that crowdsources the addresses of homes where a crime has occurred. The website has been featured on numerous news and media outlets around the globe since it launched in 2013.

Armieri is currently working on an upcoming album out of his home studio in Laval, Quebec.
